Instructions for poster presenters:
The poster area is located in the Congress Hall. Posters are displayed full time during the congress and especially in breaks and the poster sessions.
Posters should be set up on Sunday 14 June before 15:00, and your poster should be displayed throughout the entire congress.
Please be present at your poster in the Poster Area in the Congress Hall during your poster session (you will receive an email with more details about the session, poster category and poster number).
Poster size and format:
- All posters should include the title, names of authors, institution, city and country. The lettering of the title should be at least 25 mm high (approx. 70 pt), and the main text at least 10 mm high (approx. 28 pt), depending on font.
- The poster should be easily readable from a distance of 2 meters.
- The language of the poster should be English.
- The dimensions of your poster should be A0 in portrait format (maximum 84.1 cm wide × 118.9 cm high / 33.1 in. wide × 46.8 in. high).
- Please bring your poster to the congress yourself.
- The Congress Secretariat will provide equipment for setting up the posters on the boards (poster stickers).
- The Congress Secretariat does not take responsibility for posters that are left behind or damaged.
Instructions for poster tours:
Poster tour presenters are asked to give a short presentation of their poster to the audience and tour moderators. The presentation should cover the study background, main results, and key conclusions or relevance of the work.
Presenters should be present at their poster during the tour, as the audience and moderators will move from poster to poster together. Presenters should also be prepared to answer questions and discuss their findings with the audience.
Instructions for oral and lightning-oral presenters:
Oral: Presentation length: 10 minutes + Q&A
Lightning-oral: Presentation length: 5 minutes (we recommend 4-6 slides). A Q&A slot with a session moderator will take place at the end of the session.
General information:
It is mandatory that your presentation is uploaded before your session. Speakers are kindly requested to arrive at the session room at least 15 minutes before the start of their session in order to prepare and be fitted with a microphone.
Presentations must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint format (*.ppt or *.pptx) in 16:9 widescreen format, and the presentation language must be English. Please note that only this format will be accepted.
If photography is not permitted during your presentation, this must be clearly stated on the first slide.
The use of personal laptops is not permitted. All presentations will be run from the congress computers; therefore, all speakers are required to use the Speaker Preview Room.
Conflict of Interest:
Please remember to declare any potential conflicts of interest on the first slide of your presentation.
Speaker preview room:
All speakers must upload their presentation in the Speaker Preview Room at least 2 hours before the session starts.
You are also welcome to send your slides by email to before 14 June. Please clearly indicate the session in which you are presenting.

However, an upload link will be made available on this website 7 days prior to the congress, allowing you to upload your presentation in advance.
